French audio/visual artist Ra has this classic track from 2004's Raoul Loves You album given the remix treatment by friends dDamage, µ-ziq, and Venetian Snares, along with two new tracks. While the new tracks are certainly worth the price of admission, the dDamage and µ-ziq remixes take the cake here. dDamage's remix is a return to form after their horrible misstep of an album released at the end of last year, and the µ-ziq remix is an absolute dream, with Mike having fun with samples and melody in a way I haven't heard since the late 90s. All profits go to the family of deceased Coredump label founder Jay Jedlicka, so do the right thing and grab a legit copy.
