Well this certainly is not what I would expect out of Temporary Residence. The label known for its post rock delivers this captivating debut of indie pop. It’s a summer record for sure with a strange charm that emerges through every track. Shades of pop classics emerge from the backgrounds of every tarck, and are transformed into something new and refreshing. A really auspicious debut. It may not be deep, but it somehow does feel important.
