Eclectic doesn't even begin to describe it. Pedro throws his immense musical knowledge in a blender on his newest album for Mush. Shades of Four Tet percussion conflict with glockenspiel, flutes, and dozens of other instruments. Especially horns. I hope you like horns. This is the case of a talented musician putting it all on the table, and I love it. This will draw an immediate comparison to Yppah's record from a couple years ago if you heard it, not because it's very similar, but because the approach is so "more is more". I'm convinced you can't fit more sounds on a record than this, yet I surely wouldn't want Pedro to take anything away here. It's like surveying a tightly packed suitcase; you don't want to take anything out because it's such a marvel at how you got it all in there. Style: Indielectronic RIYL: Four Tet, Yppah Download: Hallelujah
