Recorded at the Art Institute of Seattle, the album saturates instrumental music with emotion. The group joined as 15 individuals responding to an ad for experimenting with walls of noise, and evolved into its current concoction of three guitars, a Rhodes and a drum set. Continuing to satisfy my cravings of GY!BE's innovative sound, the band dreams up endless soundscapes that spread in thin layers over the vast horizon of sound. Crafted smarter than emergency flotation devices, this true (post?)post-rock album is guaranteed to bring you to the shores of sanity in case of any unplanned crash landing.
